The Question of the Hour: ARE HUMANS CAPABLE OF CHANGING BASIC BEHAVIORS?

August 18, 2017

The Question of the Hour:
ARE HUMANS CAPABLE OF
CHANGING BASIC BEHAVIORS?

A Note from Neale...

My dear friends,

Changing our idea about ourselves, changing our way of being in the world, is a big order. But is it impossible?

A reader here posting as “Raphael” makes some interesting observations regarding the North Korean/U.S. standoff. Among them: “Men appear to love war, women appear to admire men who love war, and new generations are always born who, knowing nothing about war, think it is the most exciting and glorious game that there is to be played. The principle source of conflict between individuals or nations is, in my view, a drive to dominate, which seems to be deeply ingrained in all mammals. There cannot be any peace when individuals compete furiously to get on top of one another to determine who will be boss, who will be the alpha male or female, who will have authority and power over others…that’s basically what it comes down to, and it is not very intelligent.”

This leaves us wondering. Can anything be done about this seemingly “ingrained” human behavior? My answer is yes. We are more capable now than ever before of considering, embracing, and sharing ideas and understandings that would have been completely out of reach for our species just a few generations ago, given our then-limited mental capacities and technological capabilities. But humanity’s collective mind is more mature now, and our technologies have expanded. We carry knowledge of the world in the palm of our hand, and we spread ideas around the world with the touch of a screen.

All we need to do now is change the ideas that we spread. All we need to do today is place into the global slipstream a new and spectacularly beneficial (and therefore, spectacularly attractive) meme for all of humanity to consider.

A “meme” is defined as an element of a culture or system of behavior that is passed from one individual to another by nongenetic means, especially imitation. So what we are talking about here is transforming society by nongenetic means.

If we are not content with waiting for new and more beneficial behaviors to be passed from one generation to the next through the agonizingly slow process of mutation or adaptation, we can now opt for the blindingly fast process of imitation.

That’s where you and I can come in. If enough of us agree to be exemplars, models, embodiments for the rest of humanity of how all of humanity can experience itself peacefully if it chooses to, we could change the world in less than a generation.

What this would take, of course, is leadership. True leadership is not saying “follow me.” True leadership is saying, “I’ll go first.” We would have to be first to put aside our tribalism and our need to be “right” at any cost. We would have to embrace a spiritual understanding that we are not separate from each other at all, but emerge from the same essence and return to the same eternality; that we are part of a never-ending and ever unified energy flow, much as a wave is part of the ocean, rising, expressing, and flowing back to its source.

If enough of us at the grass roots level demonstrated such behaviors, our world leaders sooner or later would follow suit, because they know they need the support of those who follow them to stay in power. So the key question for us on this day is simple: What behaviors are we cheering on, and what behaviors are we displaying, encouraging others to imitate?

Love,

The ‘Fictitious Disease’ Called ADHD. The ADHD Scam and the Mass Drugging of School Children

POSTED BY: HEALTHYLIFEBYTE 06/06/2017

There is a scam running around and it is called ADHD. This is happening among school children and it actually isn’t helping.

“ADHD is a prime example of a fictitious disease.”

These were the words of Leon Eisenberg, the ‘father of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder),’ in his final interview before he died in 2009 at 87 years of age. Some have described Dr. Eisenberg’s statement as an ‘exaggeration’ of sorts however many doctors are now coming to the realization that ADHD is often ‘over diagnosed’.

Harvard psychologist Jerome Kagan, who is one of the world’s leading experts in child development, states:

Let’s go back 50 years. We have a 7-year-old child who is bored in school and disrupts classes. Back then, he was called lazy. Today, he is said to suffer from ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). . . . Every child who’s not doing well in school is sent to see a pediatrician, and the pediatrician says: “It’s ADHD; here’s Ritalin.
In reality, almost 90 percent of these 5.4 million kids don’t actually have any kind of abnormal dopamine metabolism. The real problem is that if a drug, considered the easy route, is available to doctors, they’ll make the corresponding diagnosis.

Dr Eisenberg made a excellent and often luxurious living off of his “fictitious disease,” thanks to pharmaceutical sales.
According to Psychiatric News.

He received the Ruane Prize for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Research and was a leader in child psychiatry for more than 40 years through his work in pharmacological trials, research, teaching, and social policy and for his theories of autism and social medicine.
The medical industry is using the guise of helping children to depersonalize and disconnect our children from a healthy, and somewhat normal upbringing. Parents are pumping these drugs into their kids with blissfull abanon, subjecting them to nothing of what the world has to offer, when in fact all these children are looking for stimulation and a fullfilled upbringing.
In the United States, 1 out of 10 boys among 10-year-olds takes medication for ADHD on a daily basis . . . with increasing tendency.
American psychologist Lisa Cosgrove and others reveal the facts in their study “Financial Ties between DSM-IV Panel Members and the Pharmaceutical Industry.” They found that “of the 170 DSM panel members 95 (56 percent) had one or more financial associations with companies in the pharmaceutical industry. One hundred percent of the members of the panels on ‘Mood Disorders’ and ‘Schizophrenia and Other Psychotic Disorders’ had financial ties to drug companies.”

And they are reaping major benefits from this “fictitious disease.” For example, the assistant director of the Pediatric Psychopharmacology Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital and associate professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School received “$1 million in earnings from drug companies between 2000 and 2007.”

Marc-André Gagnon and Joel Lexchin, a long-time researcher of pharmaceutical promotion, performed a study which shows that the U.S. pharmaceutical industry spent 24.4 percent of the sales dollar on promotion, versus 13.4 percent for research and development in 2004. That is almost twice as much money to push their drugs on people than the amount to research to make sure it they’re safe!

The antidepressant black-box warning is startling, and you will be alarmed by the side effects listed on the pack’s inserts:

Depersonalization

Hostility

Confusion

Hallucination

Delusions

Feeling drunk

Alcohol abuse

Manic reactions

Suicidal ideation

Loss of consciousness

Homicidal ideation

Dr. Edward C. Hamlyn, a founding member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, in 1998 stated, “ADHD is fraud intended to justify starting children on a life of drug addiction.”

Spiritual Enlightenment Are Steps

Chi And Spiritual Enlightenment

Chi and Enlightenment are one and the same thing, if everything is energy and one comes to understand all energy, how can enlightenment be avoided?

Chi Sources

First and foremost, let us clear any confusion surrounding the phenomena known as “chi energy.” Chi is the primordial energy which permeates everything in creation and without which life is not possible. Everything in existence has a vibrational frequency which is synonymous with the rate of chi that emanates from it.
All humans emit various vibrational frequencies, because they are generating various levels of chi. To elaborate further, your level of chi is determined by your physical/ emotional/ mental & spiritual states, all comprised into one.
The Chinese symbol for Chi means No Fire, which symbolizes that when the Chi in the body is mastered, the body is in balance and not polarized to an extreme, due to a dominance of Yang (fire) energy, causing aging and deterioration.
When intelligence is combined with chi, the former can manipulate first creatively, in order to transmute it to finer/subtler and higher levels (higher frequencies).
This type of alchemy requires knowledge about all the sources of chi generated from within the human body. Substances, such as food, water and air, are known aspost-birth Chi — their essence plays a major role in the level of Chi they transmit to you.
It is very simple once you understand that you are what you eat, and what you eat affects the rate at which you vibrate, which in turn affects your being — in other words, your psychological processing and ability to transcend low behaviors.
In a world where clean, pure, drinking water, healthy, fresh, greens and clear, pure, air are so rare in the environments where most of us live, the disastrous physical and mental health of the majority should come as no surprise.
One of the worst sources of chi is believed to be flesh (i.e. animal meat). If you come to understand that your DNA intertwines with all that you consume, then why would you in a sense, turn yourself into a cow, pig or a chicken?
Why is it so hard to comprehend that this is the sole reason for chaos in the consciousness of so many humans, that are unwittingly keeping themselves binded to animalistic traits and tendencies?
Another vital source of your Chi is determined by the level of Chi your parents embodied in the moment of your conception, which resides within you as the pre-birth Chi.
Pre-birth chi can be compared to your genetic potential and, also, to your spiritual inheritance. One of the reasons for our lower or higher spiritual levels is largely due to the parental energetic inheritance.
You are the microcosm of the combination of your parents and you embody their progress and their karma — that is until you break free and rewrite your genetic codes. A mere strong will and a disciplined focused intent on changing is all it takes… easier said than done! Yet, it’s possible and unavoidable for spiritual evolution.
On a physical level the pre-birth chi is contained in the sperm cells of a man and the egg cells of a woman. The word used for the chi produced from reproductive essence in Chinese is “Jing Chi”.
The body extracts Jing Chi from the sexual essence and converts it to mainly shen chi (spiritual chi) which, in a sense, is fuel for the spirit and helps it remain energized and in control — which aids in the proper conduction of chi across the entire body.
It is believed that the spirit resides in the upper dan tian (3rd eye area) and, when the Jing Chi is led to the top to meet again with the spirit, it can energize it so that the spirit can guide the chi in the entire body to a much more sufficient level.
All the different organs function best when supplied with the correct current of chi, and this is one of the major roles that Jing chi plays, slowing and preventing the deterioration of the organs by extinguishing the fire (positively charged chi) with its Yin essence.
Jing Chi is also called Water Chi, while post-birth chi is well known as Fire Chi. No Fire in the body is established when the Jing Chi can reach the head a.k.a raising the kundalini up the spine.
The result is complete balance and serene stillness of mind resulting from the smooth functioning of the machine called the human body.
Indeed, this is a major stage of enlightenment.

Deeper Levels of Enlightenment

Women are by nature many times more spiritual than men are, hence the reason why they have been manipulated and forced to play submissive roles in our recent history. Masculine polarized men have been put in charge of world leading agendas, which has only served to abolish the planet and lead us astray from the natural ways.
To reclaim a divine connection with nature and the feminine principle is something all men should aspire to. The only viable way we can do this, is for all men to practice Sexual energy cultivation methods.
The perversion of the feminine principle in the form of pornography, dirty magazines and just about everywhere we look in the media, plus the lies told by doctors that masturbation is healthy and ejaculation is crucial for prostate health, all serve to rape men of their spiritual potential, pinning them down in the abyss, never permitting the bliss of the spirit to meet once again with the divine spark of its origin.
When the original essence is conserved, it has a chance to become refined as it has time to download your biological blueprint in consecutive cycles. When Jing Chi is circulated to the upper Dan Tian, it reinvigorates the spirit and activates more brain cells with creative energy.
A new, profound, higher state will upgrade and refine the original essence once more and, again, the altered essence will fuel your spirit to a higher degree — the cycle is continuous, the refinement is gradual.
As you can see, retaining the semen is synonymous with retaining the progression of consciousness to higher and higher levels.
Men have been manipulated by a programmed society into believing that sex is for pleasure and that this is all there is to it. The society made us believe men are superior to women, which disconnected us more and more from our true nature.
The battle is not lost though and there is always salvation for those seeking a way back to the light. This is, at least for men, the sacred secret of retaining the vital essence.

See What Is

The soul links directly to the heart.  The heart feels with the all Seeing Eye, when linked to the upper all Seeing Eye and the inner eye of the All-seeing held within the head.  So there are three eyes, which work as one single eye.  All of these then link the heart and mind and when all are activated one starts seeing cosmically.

The all-seeing eye combines with the all-hearing ears.

It in turn combines with the all-seeing taste, and the all-being elixir of life immortal.

A Master has finally managed use all of these.

WHAT IF IT WERE TRUE THAT WE ARE ALL ONE? by Neale Donald Walsch November 8, 2015

I consider no message more important to the future of humanity, and therefore to the teaching of our children, than the four-word statement that the world was given in the first chapter of the first book in the 3,000+ page Conversations with God series…
We are all one.
But what does We Are All One mean?To me the CWG message that We Are All One means exactly what it says. The conversation elaborates, telling us that “All Things are One Thing. There is only One Thing, and all things are part of the One Thing there is.”
This means that we are One with each other, One with all of Life, and One with God. There is no other way to interpret it, as I see it.
CWG is telling us that you are me and I am you; that we are part and parcel of Everything. We are intermingled as differing energy forms in a Larger Form that includes All That Is. And so, we are not only One with each other, but One with the Earth and every living thing upon it. One, as well, with the Universe. And, as I’ve already said, One with that Divine Essence that we call God.
The implications of this for the human race are staggering. If we believed this was true, everything in our lives would change. Everything in our religions, in our politics, in our economics, in our education, and in our social constructions. And everything in our personal lives as well.
In our religions we would see the end of their seemingly endless competitions for human souls. Religions would stop insisting on portraying themselves as the One and Only Path to God. They would assist us on our own personal path, but they would not claim to be The Path. And they would cease using Fear as the chief tool in their arsenal.
They would stop teaching that unless we follow their doctrines, we are going to spend eternity in the everlasting fires of hell. They would be a source of comfort and guidance, of ever-present help, and of strength in times of need. Thus, religion would serve its highest purpose and its grandest function.
In our politics we would see the end of hidden agendas, and of power plays, and of the demonization of those with opposing points of view. Political parties would stop claiming that their way was the only way. And they would work together to find solutions to the most pressing problems, and to move society forward by seeking common ground.
They would seek to blend the most workable of their ideas with the most workable of the ideas of their opponents. Thus, politics would serve its highest purpose and its grandest function.
In our economics we would see the end of Bigger-Better-More as the international yardstick of Success. We would create a New Bottom Line, in which “maximum productivity” was redefined, and in which our endless drive for profits-profits-profitswas replaced with a sense of awe and wonder in the universe, a reverence for all of life, and a dedication to creating a world in which each person can live in dignity, with basic needs being met. Thus, economics would serve its highest purpose and its grandest function.
In our education we would see the end of propaganda substituting for history, and of subject-driven curricula, where emphasis is placed on memorization of facts, rather than on the fundamental concepts of life which we want our children to understand: awareness, honesty, responsibility.
We would see a democratic school in which children have as much to say about what they are to learn and how they will learn it as teachers, and in which we do not use the environment to pour knowledge into children, but to draw wisdom out of them. Thus, education would serve its highest purpose and its grandest function.
What “We Are All One” does not meanWe Are All One does not mean that what’s mine is yours and what’s yours is mine. Not in the ordinarily understood human sense of those words. The concept of Onenessdoes not eliminate the possibility of personal possessions or individual expressions.
We may find ourselves experiencing a higher level of desire than ever before to shareour personal possessions with others when we realize that there really are no “others,” only and merely Additional Versions of the Self—yet we are not required to give our possessions away, nor are we authorized to take another’s possessions from them.
Each human expression of the Divine may experience itself exactly the way it chooses—and what we gather and what we share becomes a striking aspect of that individual expression.
We Are All One also does not mean that we are all the same, or that we do not have a personal and singular and very specific identity. The Parable of the Snowflake, which first appeared in the book The Only Thing That Matters (Emnin Books, 2012, distributed by Hay House), explains this for children in a wonderful way.
I offer it for your reading here…
Once upon a time there was a snowflake. It’s name was Sara. Sara the Snowflake had a brother named Sam. Sam the Snowflake.
Sara and Sam both lived a good life—but they feared for the day that they would die, melting away into the nothingness. Then one day the Snow Angel appeared to both of them. “A snowflake is eternal. Did you know that?” the Angel said, and then the Angel explained:
“The very first snowflakes in the history of the world are the snowflakes that are falling today. They fall from the sky as highly individualized physicalizations. There are no two snowflakes alike. There never have been, in all the history of snowflakes.
“The flakes are awesomely beautiful in their individual design. No one who watches them falling from the heavens can fail to see their exquisite splendor. People run outside when snowflakes fall, beholding their breathtaking magnificence.
“As they land, they merge with one another. People call a huge collection of them on the ground simply ‘snow.’ They don’t say, ‘Look at that big pile of snowflakes.’ They say, ‘Look at that mountain of snow.’ They see all the individual snowflakes as One. And indeed, the snowflakes are One with One Another.”
The Angel went on…
“Soon the sun comes out and the snow melts, each flake disappearing, one by one. They don’t, of course, disappear at all. They simply change form. Now they are water, rippling together in a sparkling puddle or flowing together in a little stream.
“The sun continues to work its magic, and soon the water itself disappears. Or seemsto. Actually, it, too, simply changes form. It evaporates, rising into the air as invisible vapors and gathering there in such concentration that they are visible again—as clouds.
“As more and more vapors gather, the clouds become heavy with their moisture. Soon, once again, the moisture falls, raining down upon the earth. And if the temperature is just right, the falling rain turns into snowflakes again—no two snowflakes alike. Ever. In the history of snowflakes.”
Sara and Sam were never so happy in their entire lives. Suddenly, everything was what you might call . . . crystal clear.
And so, in the snow we see the Cycle of Life and the Story of You.

An interesting question: CAN WE FIND THE COURAGE TO BE HOLY? by Neale Donald Walsch November 5, 2015

The discussions here have become quite lively, and I have enjoyed them very much. Glad to have you all on board, and spending your time engaging your Mind, whatever you believe. I happen to believe that what I believe creates my reality. I could be wrong about that, but my experience over a lifetime has proven the opposite to me. So I’m going to stick with my current beliefs unless and until proven otherwise to me.
I believe in God, and what I believe about God has become the central focus of a life that without this belief would feel meaningless. I choose not to believe in a life of meaninglessness.
I was offered this observation by Conversations with God: “Nothing has any meaning, save the meaning you give it.” That has been my on-the-ground experience for sure. I hope that all of you are served mightily and lovingly by the meaning you have given to the experiences in your life. I hope you take care of yourself in this way.
Now with this entry I want to talk about beingism.
I am coining this term, I am using this made-up word, to describe a way of moving through the world. It is a giving up of how you think you should be, or would like to be, or imagine how others are expecting you to be, in any given situation. It is a surrendering to what I believe to be your True Nature, a giving in to what I believe to be your Highest Self. And it is something you do most often without thinking.
That is the whole point of it. The point is to stop Thinking and start Being.
When you are Thinking, you are caught in the Mind. When you are Being, you are freely expressing the Soul. When you are expressing your Soul you are experiencing Who You Really Are. When you are caught in your Mind you are experiencing who you imagine yourself to be — or to have to be in order to meet the expectations of others.
I was in a hospital years ago visiting my father. There was a guy in the next room. This man was calling out and moaning. He was obviously in pain. The nurse was not coming fast enough. He was in distress. He was moaning, “Oh God, oh, my God, I can’t take it.” My dad was nowhere near that. He was just laying there feeling perfectly fine.
I said “Hey, I have got to go over there. I have got to go see what’s going on next door.” He said no. He said, Son, leave it alone, leave it to the nurses. I said “No, I’ve got to go. I can’t let that guy just lie there.”
Instantly when I went in there, compassion was called forth. Now listen very carefully to what I just said. I didn’t say, “Compassion was called for.” I said, “Compassion was called forth.” This “calling forth” is a process in which the Mind, analyzing a situation, opens an immediate pathway to the Soul. The soul pours forth its Essence—the true Essence of its Being—and that Essence expresses through you, as you. This manifests without effort because it is, in fact, who you really are.
We have all been in situations similar to that, whatever the circumstance, where compassion is called forth. Or patience is called forth. Or kindness, or understanding, or immense generosity, or just plain love…is called forth. This particular version of our Essence just bubbles up. It just comes up in us. We do not think about it. We do not decide, I think I will be compassionate here. The highest callings are sent out automatically. It is merely a question of whether we will respond to them.
I went in and talked to the guy. I rubbed his forehead. I held his hand. He was an older man, about 80 or 85. He was having a terrible time. His meds had run out. His pain had come back. I do not know what was going on with him, but I just talked to him quietly. He did not even care who I was. He did not even care. I could have been a doctor. I could have been a nurse who hadn’t put his scrubs on yet. I could have been a psychiatrist who’d been called down from the seventh floor. He had no idea who I was and he did not care. Someone was a witness to his life. That made it all a little easier. Someone was bearing witness…
Years later I experienced myself feeling these words as my innermost reality: “Your victories are my victories, your travails are my travails. Your risings are my risings, your fallings are my fallings. You have not experienced a part of you that I have not experienced as a part of me. I stand as not only a witness to your life, but as a liver of it, through my Oneness with you. Inwardly I celebrate your joys, and inwardly I share your burdens. And I will have it no other way…because We Are All One, and I will not turn from you in this hour. For what I do for you, I do for me. And what I fail to do for you, I fail to do for me. I shall not separate myself from you when just the opposite is called for, if I am truly here to heal the world by healing my Self of any false thoughts I ever held about Who I Really Am. First I must see Who You Really Are — and this I choose to do now, in this self-same moment.”
I didn’t tell that story to make myself look good. I told it to illustrate something. As I said, we’ve all had moments like this. We’ve all experienced “showing up” in life in a very big way, in a very wonderful way. We may not even have seen it as that, but itwas that, I can tell you, in the life of another.
This is what I mean when I talk about beingism as a tool for an individual. This is what I mean when I speak of beingism as an engine for an entire society. Imagine what a world we would have if we all simply decided to be “compassion.” Or to be“understanding.” Or—dare I suggest it?—to be “holy.”
To be “holy” is to be One With Another. It is to be One With ALL Others. To be “holy” is to be Whole.
Amen, and amen.

An interesting question: IS ANY TRUTH ‘ABSOLUTE’? IS THAT WHAT’S IMPORTANT? by Neale Donald Walsch October 22, 2015

Can we really know whether anything is true? Does truth itself even exist as an Absolute? For that matter, what is truth? Is it simply a point of view held by a sufficient number of people to be widely accepted as what is so? And even in this context, does it exist only in relative terms?
The history of our species has shown us that many things we thought were undeniable and irrefutable truths have been, over the course of time, revealed to not be true at all. And I am not referring only to ancient and understandably misunderstood matters (the Earth is flat, the Sun revolves around the Earth, the idea that life could suddenly emerge from inanimate objects [spontaneous generation], the theory that light emanates from the eye, rather than being received by it [emission theory] — all of which concepts were held as true for thousands of years). I’m also referring to many contemporary notions as well (homosexuality is a deliberately chosen lifestyle having nothing to do with one’s biochemistry; modern vaccine theory is correct; jobs are a requirement for income; climate change is not real; punishment, as opposed to rehabilitation, of offenders is the highest choice of an evolved society).
All of this notwithstanding, can it serve us at some level to agree with ourselves and with each other that certain things are true? Without wanting to seem overly simplistic, I think it can. I think that is apparent. Any group or cluster of people hoping to live together in peace and harmony is going to find benefit in agreeing that certain things are true.
They may be making it all up, but Truth By Agreement — first , with oneself, then with others — can and does serve a purpose. It helps society to organize itself, it gives newcomers to that society (children growing into adults, arrivals from one culture or country entering another) a set of principles on which a particular society bases its day-to-day interactions, which those newcomers may use to their benefit in integrating into that group or cluster.
Truth By Agreement with oneself can also, in many cases, produce enormous good in an individual’s moment-to-moment experience, whether in a group or cluster or not.
All of which brings me to the idea of God.
I have observed (and personally experienced) that Truth By Agreement with oneself regarding the existence of God — to say nothing of the nature, the purpose, the function, and the desire of God — can and does have an immense impact on people’s lives.
This observation, in turn, has opened me to consider whether a theory need to have been proven — or even be provable — for it to have practical and powerful benefit. For me, the answer is no. I have therefore not limited my mind to embracing only those propositions that have been validated by scientific or clinical evidence.
Nowhere is this more useful to me than in the matter of whether or not there is a Higher Power in this Universe. I believe there is, even though there is apparently no scientific or clinical proof of it. Yet I see evidence of it every day in my life — and I have learned in my 72 years that evidence and proof are not the same thing.
I mention this here because, in the very welcome interactions I have read in the Comment String below my various columns here on the subject of God and what I perceive to be God’s message to the world, I have seen some responses that have articulated — in often wonderfully clear and imminently logical terms — an idea other than mine. The idea that there is no such thing as God.
I very much enjoy the back-and-forth on this. But I would like to invite a slight switch in focus now, away from the question of whether God exists, and to the question of whether a belief in God can be hugely transformative in an individual’s life, and in the collective experience of humans on this planet.
The answer to that question is, of course, yes. Simple observation makes that virtually inarguable. Equally inarguable is the fact that what a person or a group believesabout God can be hugely detrimental to an individual’s well-being — and to the well-being of an entire species.
So, clearly, it is important what one holds as one’s truth regarding what I believe I can call — judging from my observation of global and individual outcomes — this critical topic.
Proving whether there is or is not a God is not nearly as intriguing to me as demonstrating that what a person, or a group or cluster of people, believes about God is critical to the happiness, joy, peace, and continuing higher evolution of our species.
I believe and observe that it is critical — and that’s why I’ve produced a string of books on the subject.
Now it could be argued by others that precisely because our beliefs about God are so critical, it is important that the concept of the existence of such a Supreme Being be challenged, if not debunked.
But I think that at this juncture in human history, what people believe ABOUT God is having far more of an impact on our day-to-day lives than whether people belief IN God — so this is where my priority lies.
I believe in God. The evidence of my life has convinced me of this. And I am intrigued by what a discussion of what people believe about God might produce in the Comments below.

An interesting question: WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE ABOUT GOD AND THE HEREAFTER? by Neale Donald Walsch October 12, 2015

What if there is no “heaven”? What if there is no “hell”? What if there is no “God”? What if there is no “life” in the “hereafter”? What if there is no “hereafter” at all — no Life After Death, no one and nothing on The Other Side, no “other side” of any kind, and nothing after life on Earth but darkness, emptiness — and not even an awareness of that?
Is it the promise of “something more” after we’re “done” here on Earth that keeps many of us going? And if we think there is nothing “more,” does that affect our choices, actions, and decisions while we’re “alive”? For that matter, what does being “alive” really mean? Does it mean that we are actively functioning in the physical world? Or does it mean we are actively functioning, period — in the physical world or in another?
Are these even important questions? Does any of it matter?
I think it does. I think that what a person believes about All Of Life — what it’s about, why it exists, how it works, what (if anything) it leads to — matters enormously. Or it certainly can matter, depending upon what those beliefs are.
I could be wrong about this, of course. But I think that the decision about what we believe regarding the Meaning, the Purpose, the Function, and the Result of Life On Earth could, and does, have a powerful impact on how (and for that matter, why) we move through our days and nights.
And I think this is true even if — and perhaps especially if — we have no particular beliefs about any of that at all.
Along with countless others through the ages, I am intrigued by this. Not so much about what I believe (or think I should believe, or feel I want to believe, or hope I canbelieve), but by what others believe. I am curious about where I fall on the spectrum of things.

Lovingly………neale.
