AT YEAR’S END, ANOTHER LOOK AT LIFE’S MOST IMPORTANT CHOICE by Neale Donald Walsch November 28, 2017

As we find ourselves in the last month of the year, I notice myself wanting to place before the house a discussion I have had here before. Indeed, as recently as August 30. I’m going to dive into it again now because, for me, it’s a perfect way to bring this year’s experience to an end, and prepare myself to embark on the New Year with reenergized spiritual vigor.
The topic has to do with our individual sense of Who We Are in the overall scheme of things. I apologize to those of you who have seen this material before, but there is always a chance that someone new may have found their way here since last summer. And for the rest of us, I hope you are like me in never tiring of revisiting the core, or central, issues of life. And this certainly is one. It is, perhaps, THE core issue of our entire life.
The subject is: How do you see yourself, how you conceive of yourself, how you construct your idea of who you are. And to me is seems as if you, and all of us, have two choices regarding this. Maybe I’m oversimplifying this, but to me, these choices look like this:
Choice #1: You could conceive of yourself as nothing more than a chemical creature, a “logical biological incident.” That is the logical outcome of a biological process engaged in by two older biological processes called your mother and your father.
If you see yourself as a nothing more than a chemical creature, you would see yourself as having no more connection to the larger processes of life than any other chemical or biological life form.
Like all the others, you would be impacted by life but could have very little impact on life. You certainly couldn’t create events, except in the most remote, indirect sense. You could create more life (all chemical creatures carry the biological capacity to recreate more of themselves), but you could not create what life does, or how it “shows up” in any given moment.
Further, as nothing more than a chemical creature you would see yourself as having very limited ability to create an intentioned response to the events and conditions of life. You would see yourself as a creature of habit and instinct, with only those resources that your biology offers you.
You would see yourself as having more resources than a turtle because your biology has gifted you with more. You would see yourself as having more resources than a butterfly because your biology has gifted you with more. Yet what your biology offers you is all you would see yourself as having in terms of resources.
You would see yourself as having to deal with life day-by-day pretty much as it comes, with perhaps a tiny bit of what seems like “control” based on advance planning, etc., but you would know that at any minute anything could go wrong— and often does.
Choice #2: You could conceive of yourself as a spiritual being having what is called a “body.” (And, as well, a “mind.”)
If you saw yourself as a spiritual being, you would see yourself as having powers and abilities far beyond those of a simple chemical creature; powers that extend beyond basic physicality and its laws.
You would understand that these powers and abilities give you collaborative control over the exterior elements of your individual and collective life, and complete control over the interior elements—which means that you have the total ability to create your own reality, because your reality has nothing to do with producing the exterior elements of your life, and everything to do with how you respond to the elements that have been produced.
Also, as a spiritual being, you would know that you are here (on Earth, that is) for a spiritual reason. This is a highly focused purpose and has little to do directly with your occupation or career, your income or possessions, your achievements or place in society, or any of the exterior conditions or circumstances of your life.
You would know that your purpose has to do with your interior life—and that how well you do in achieving your purpose may very often have an effect on your exterior life.
(For the interior life of each individual cumulatively produces the exterior life of the collective. That is those people around you, and those people who are around those people who are around you. It is in this way that you, as a spiritual being, participate in the evolution of your species.)
My own answer: I’ve decided that I am a spiritual being, a three-part entity made up of Body, Mind, and Soul. Each part of my tri-part being has a function and a purpose. As I come to understand each of those functions, Who I Am begins to more efficiently manifest in my experience, as the Totality of Who I Am serves its purpose in and through my life.
I have decided that I am an Individuation of Divinity, an expression of God, a singularization of the singularity. There is no separation between me and God, nor is there any difference, except as to proportion. Put simply, God and I are one.
The analogy I like to use to help me understand and embrace this is the relationship between an ocean wave and the Ocean Itself. I believe that I am, to God, as a wave is to the Ocean. The wave is in no way separate from the Ocean, nor is it other than the Ocean. Rather (and quite simply), it is a singular aspect of the Ocean…an individual expression arising and emerging as a product of its Source. And when the expression of the wave is complete, it recedes back into the Ocean, whence it came.

This analogy brings up an interesting question. Am I rightly accused of heresy? Are people who believe that they are Divine nothing but raving lunatics? Are they, worse yet, apostates?
I wondered. So I did a little research. I wanted to find out what religious and spiritual sources had to say on the subject. Here’s some of what I found . . . .
Isaiah 41:23—Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold together.
Psalm 82:6—I have said, ‘Gods ye are, And sons of the Most High—all of you.
John 10:34—Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, “I said, Ye are gods?”
The Indian philosopher Adi Shankara (788 CE – 820 CE), the one largely responsible for the initial expounding and consolidation of Advaita Vedanta, wrote in his famous work, Vivekachudamani“Brahman is the only Truth, the spatio-temporal world is an illusion, and there is ultimately Brahman and individual self.”
Sri Swami Krishnananda Saraswati Maharaj (April 25, 1922 – November 23, 2001), a Hindu saint: “God exists; there is only one God; the essence of man is God.”
According to Buddhism there ultimately is no such thing as a Self that is independent of the rest of the universe (the doctrine of anatta) – any more than there is a wave that is independent of the Ocean.
Also, if I understand certain Buddhist schools of thought correctly, humans return to the earth in subsequent lifetimes in one of six forms, the last of which are called Devas . . . which is variously translated as Gods or Deities.
Meanwhile, the ancient Chinese discipline of Taoism speaks of embodiment and pragmatism, engaging practice to actualize the Natural Order within themselves. Taoists believe that man is a microcosm of the universe.
Hermeticism is a set of philosophical and religious beliefs or gnosis based primarily upon the Hellenistic Egyptian pseudepigraphical writings attributed to Hermes Trismegistus. Hermeticism teaches that there is a transcendent God, The All, or one “Cause,” of which we, and the entire universe, participate.
The concept was first laid out in The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus, in the famous words: “That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above, corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracles of the One Thing.”
And in Sufism, an esoteric form of Islam, the teaching, There is no God but God was long ago changed to, There is nothing but God. Which would make me . . . well . . . God.
Enough? Do you wish or need more? You might find it instructive and fascinating to go to Wikipedia, the source to which I owe my appreciation for much of the above information.
As well, read the remarkable books of Huston Smith, a globally honored professor of religion. Among titles of his that I most often recommend: The World’s Religions: Our Great Wisdom Traditions (1958, revised edition 1991, HarperOne), and Forgotten Truth: The Common Vision of the World’s Religions (1976, reprint edition 1992, HarperOne).
So . . . that is my response to the invitation that life is presenting me, and all of us, regarding the making of a choice about Who I Am. I am an out-picturing of The Divine. I am God in human form. As are we all.
Let’s look again, as this year ends, at your response. And if you’re new here, I’m looking forward to your thoughts on all of this.

When An Entire Culture Refuses To Believe With What Is Occurring, It Can Not Do Anything About What Is Occurring

Could you believe it?
TEENAGE MAJORETTES TWIRL
FACSIMILE RIFLES IN PARADE

Is this what we're having our children be grateful for on Thanksgiving?

Is this what we’re doing now? High school girls twirling rifles?
Did anybody notice? Does anybody care?
I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. It was the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and I’ve watched it on television every year since I was a child. It’s been kind of a Thanksgiving morning tradition. All the floats. The appearance of celebrities. The marching bands from high schools all over America, with their drum majorettes fastastically tossing and twirling, and miraculously catching, batons.
Only this time they weren’t batons. They were facsimile rifles.
That’s right, rifles.
What is that about???, I asked myself when I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
Not just one high school marching band, but several, with their teenage drum majorettes marching along with them in flashy outfits. Let me offer you the definition of “drum majorette” found in most dictionaries:
“drum majorette — noun: the female leader of a marching band. * a girl or woman who twirls a baton, typically with a marching band or drum corps.”
Well, in America as of Thanksgiving 2017 (and perhaps before…I hadn’t noticed until now), we have to change that definition to “a girl or woman who twirls a facsimile rifle, typically looking like a military weapon, with a marching band or drum corps.”
Did you see it with me? Did your jaw drop with mine? The high school majorettes were twirling white objects, but not batons. Apparently made of wood or plastic (or who knows what), these items were cut in the exact shape of a military rifle, with its stock, trigger housing, magazine, barrel and sight.
I couldn’t believe it.
What are the children watching this parade—on 34th Street in New York and on TV at home—supposed to think? Is this the imagery we want to embed? What is the message we are sending?
For that matter, what is the energy and imagery that the teenagers in those marching bands and majorette units are absorbing? Are we actually proud that facsimile weapons have replaced shiny, sparkly batons as the item of choice that we’re having our teenagers twirl — just like the real-life military marching units also in the parade, members of which were twirling actual rifles with bayonets?
Have we gone far enough to glorify weapons, to glorify the military, to glorify killing and war? High school drum majorettes twirling rifles?
My God, what have we come to? As a society, what have we come to?
Am I the only one whose heart sank seeing teenage drum majorettes smilingly and flashingly twirling facsimile weapons?
Am I just getting too old? Am I so far out of step with where we as a society now are…and want to be?

The Question of the Hour: ARE HUMANS CAPABLE OF CHANGING BASIC BEHAVIORS?

August 18, 2017

The Question of the Hour:
ARE HUMANS CAPABLE OF
CHANGING BASIC BEHAVIORS?

A Note from Neale...

My dear friends,

Changing our idea about ourselves, changing our way of being in the world, is a big order. But is it impossible?

A reader here posting as “Raphael” makes some interesting observations regarding the North Korean/U.S. standoff. Among them: “Men appear to love war, women appear to admire men who love war, and new generations are always born who, knowing nothing about war, think it is the most exciting and glorious game that there is to be played. The principle source of conflict between individuals or nations is, in my view, a drive to dominate, which seems to be deeply ingrained in all mammals. There cannot be any peace when individuals compete furiously to get on top of one another to determine who will be boss, who will be the alpha male or female, who will have authority and power over others…that’s basically what it comes down to, and it is not very intelligent.”

This leaves us wondering. Can anything be done about this seemingly “ingrained” human behavior? My answer is yes. We are more capable now than ever before of considering, embracing, and sharing ideas and understandings that would have been completely out of reach for our species just a few generations ago, given our then-limited mental capacities and technological capabilities. But humanity’s collective mind is more mature now, and our technologies have expanded. We carry knowledge of the world in the palm of our hand, and we spread ideas around the world with the touch of a screen.

All we need to do now is change the ideas that we spread. All we need to do today is place into the global slipstream a new and spectacularly beneficial (and therefore, spectacularly attractive) meme for all of humanity to consider.

A “meme” is defined as an element of a culture or system of behavior that is passed from one individual to another by nongenetic means, especially imitation. So what we are talking about here is transforming society by nongenetic means.

If we are not content with waiting for new and more beneficial behaviors to be passed from one generation to the next through the agonizingly slow process of mutation or adaptation, we can now opt for the blindingly fast process of imitation.

That’s where you and I can come in. If enough of us agree to be exemplars, models, embodiments for the rest of humanity of how all of humanity can experience itself peacefully if it chooses to, we could change the world in less than a generation.

What this would take, of course, is leadership. True leadership is not saying “follow me.” True leadership is saying, “I’ll go first.” We would have to be first to put aside our tribalism and our need to be “right” at any cost. We would have to embrace a spiritual understanding that we are not separate from each other at all, but emerge from the same essence and return to the same eternality; that we are part of a never-ending and ever unified energy flow, much as a wave is part of the ocean, rising, expressing, and flowing back to its source.

If enough of us at the grass roots level demonstrated such behaviors, our world leaders sooner or later would follow suit, because they know they need the support of those who follow them to stay in power. So the key question for us on this day is simple: What behaviors are we cheering on, and what behaviors are we displaying, encouraging others to imitate?

Love,

The ‘Fictitious Disease’ Called ADHD. The ADHD Scam and the Mass Drugging of School Children

POSTED BY: HEALTHYLIFEBYTE 06/06/2017

There is a scam running around and it is called ADHD. This is happening among school children and it actually isn’t helping.

“ADHD is a prime example of a fictitious disease.”

These were the words of Leon Eisenberg, the ‘father of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder),’ in his final interview before he died in 2009 at 87 years of age. Some have described Dr. Eisenberg’s statement as an ‘exaggeration’ of sorts however many doctors are now coming to the realization that ADHD is often ‘over diagnosed’.

Harvard psychologist Jerome Kagan, who is one of the world’s leading experts in child development, states:

Let’s go back 50 years. We have a 7-year-old child who is bored in school and disrupts classes. Back then, he was called lazy. Today, he is said to suffer from ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). . . . Every child who’s not doing well in school is sent to see a pediatrician, and the pediatrician says: “It’s ADHD; here’s Ritalin.
In reality, almost 90 percent of these 5.4 million kids don’t actually have any kind of abnormal dopamine metabolism. The real problem is that if a drug, considered the easy route, is available to doctors, they’ll make the corresponding diagnosis.

Dr Eisenberg made a excellent and often luxurious living off of his “fictitious disease,” thanks to pharmaceutical sales.
According to Psychiatric News.

He received the Ruane Prize for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Research and was a leader in child psychiatry for more than 40 years through his work in pharmacological trials, research, teaching, and social policy and for his theories of autism and social medicine.
The medical industry is using the guise of helping children to depersonalize and disconnect our children from a healthy, and somewhat normal upbringing. Parents are pumping these drugs into their kids with blissfull abanon, subjecting them to nothing of what the world has to offer, when in fact all these children are looking for stimulation and a fullfilled upbringing.
In the United States, 1 out of 10 boys among 10-year-olds takes medication for ADHD on a daily basis . . . with increasing tendency.
American psychologist Lisa Cosgrove and others reveal the facts in their study “Financial Ties between DSM-IV Panel Members and the Pharmaceutical Industry.” They found that “of the 170 DSM panel members 95 (56 percent) had one or more financial associations with companies in the pharmaceutical industry. One hundred percent of the members of the panels on ‘Mood Disorders’ and ‘Schizophrenia and Other Psychotic Disorders’ had financial ties to drug companies.”

And they are reaping major benefits from this “fictitious disease.” For example, the assistant director of the Pediatric Psychopharmacology Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital and associate professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School received “$1 million in earnings from drug companies between 2000 and 2007.”

Marc-André Gagnon and Joel Lexchin, a long-time researcher of pharmaceutical promotion, performed a study which shows that the U.S. pharmaceutical industry spent 24.4 percent of the sales dollar on promotion, versus 13.4 percent for research and development in 2004. That is almost twice as much money to push their drugs on people than the amount to research to make sure it they’re safe!

The antidepressant black-box warning is startling, and you will be alarmed by the side effects listed on the pack’s inserts:

Depersonalization

Hostility

Confusion

Hallucination

Delusions

Feeling drunk

Alcohol abuse

Manic reactions

Suicidal ideation

Loss of consciousness

Homicidal ideation

Dr. Edward C. Hamlyn, a founding member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, in 1998 stated, “ADHD is fraud intended to justify starting children on a life of drug addiction.”

Spiritual Enlightenment Are Steps

Chi And Spiritual Enlightenment

Chi and Enlightenment are one and the same thing, if everything is energy and one comes to understand all energy, how can enlightenment be avoided?

Chi Sources

First and foremost, let us clear any confusion surrounding the phenomena known as “chi energy.” Chi is the primordial energy which permeates everything in creation and without which life is not possible. Everything in existence has a vibrational frequency which is synonymous with the rate of chi that emanates from it.
All humans emit various vibrational frequencies, because they are generating various levels of chi. To elaborate further, your level of chi is determined by your physical/ emotional/ mental & spiritual states, all comprised into one.
The Chinese symbol for Chi means No Fire, which symbolizes that when the Chi in the body is mastered, the body is in balance and not polarized to an extreme, due to a dominance of Yang (fire) energy, causing aging and deterioration.
When intelligence is combined with chi, the former can manipulate first creatively, in order to transmute it to finer/subtler and higher levels (higher frequencies).
This type of alchemy requires knowledge about all the sources of chi generated from within the human body. Substances, such as food, water and air, are known aspost-birth Chi — their essence plays a major role in the level of Chi they transmit to you.
It is very simple once you understand that you are what you eat, and what you eat affects the rate at which you vibrate, which in turn affects your being — in other words, your psychological processing and ability to transcend low behaviors.
In a world where clean, pure, drinking water, healthy, fresh, greens and clear, pure, air are so rare in the environments where most of us live, the disastrous physical and mental health of the majority should come as no surprise.
One of the worst sources of chi is believed to be flesh (i.e. animal meat). If you come to understand that your DNA intertwines with all that you consume, then why would you in a sense, turn yourself into a cow, pig or a chicken?
Why is it so hard to comprehend that this is the sole reason for chaos in the consciousness of so many humans, that are unwittingly keeping themselves binded to animalistic traits and tendencies?
Another vital source of your Chi is determined by the level of Chi your parents embodied in the moment of your conception, which resides within you as the pre-birth Chi.
Pre-birth chi can be compared to your genetic potential and, also, to your spiritual inheritance. One of the reasons for our lower or higher spiritual levels is largely due to the parental energetic inheritance.
You are the microcosm of the combination of your parents and you embody their progress and their karma — that is until you break free and rewrite your genetic codes. A mere strong will and a disciplined focused intent on changing is all it takes… easier said than done! Yet, it’s possible and unavoidable for spiritual evolution.
On a physical level the pre-birth chi is contained in the sperm cells of a man and the egg cells of a woman. The word used for the chi produced from reproductive essence in Chinese is “Jing Chi”.
The body extracts Jing Chi from the sexual essence and converts it to mainly shen chi (spiritual chi) which, in a sense, is fuel for the spirit and helps it remain energized and in control — which aids in the proper conduction of chi across the entire body.
It is believed that the spirit resides in the upper dan tian (3rd eye area) and, when the Jing Chi is led to the top to meet again with the spirit, it can energize it so that the spirit can guide the chi in the entire body to a much more sufficient level.
All the different organs function best when supplied with the correct current of chi, and this is one of the major roles that Jing chi plays, slowing and preventing the deterioration of the organs by extinguishing the fire (positively charged chi) with its Yin essence.
Jing Chi is also called Water Chi, while post-birth chi is well known as Fire Chi. No Fire in the body is established when the Jing Chi can reach the head a.k.a raising the kundalini up the spine.
The result is complete balance and serene stillness of mind resulting from the smooth functioning of the machine called the human body.
Indeed, this is a major stage of enlightenment.

Deeper Levels of Enlightenment

Women are by nature many times more spiritual than men are, hence the reason why they have been manipulated and forced to play submissive roles in our recent history. Masculine polarized men have been put in charge of world leading agendas, which has only served to abolish the planet and lead us astray from the natural ways.
To reclaim a divine connection with nature and the feminine principle is something all men should aspire to. The only viable way we can do this, is for all men to practice Sexual energy cultivation methods.
The perversion of the feminine principle in the form of pornography, dirty magazines and just about everywhere we look in the media, plus the lies told by doctors that masturbation is healthy and ejaculation is crucial for prostate health, all serve to rape men of their spiritual potential, pinning them down in the abyss, never permitting the bliss of the spirit to meet once again with the divine spark of its origin.
When the original essence is conserved, it has a chance to become refined as it has time to download your biological blueprint in consecutive cycles. When Jing Chi is circulated to the upper Dan Tian, it reinvigorates the spirit and activates more brain cells with creative energy.
A new, profound, higher state will upgrade and refine the original essence once more and, again, the altered essence will fuel your spirit to a higher degree — the cycle is continuous, the refinement is gradual.
As you can see, retaining the semen is synonymous with retaining the progression of consciousness to higher and higher levels.
Men have been manipulated by a programmed society into believing that sex is for pleasure and that this is all there is to it. The society made us believe men are superior to women, which disconnected us more and more from our true nature.
The battle is not lost though and there is always salvation for those seeking a way back to the light. This is, at least for men, the sacred secret of retaining the vital essence.
